The capacity to wake up, be present and respond to whatever each moment is asking of us is the foundation of Sensory Awareness practice. This leads to more freedom, ease and joy even in the midst of difficulty. As we focus on and nourish what brings us alive, we can release what depletes and drains us. In this workshop through simple, direct explorations of our sensory experience, we will discover our capacity to rest, to be in connection, to meet what hinders us, and to trust in what enlivens us. 

There will be ten 3-hour sessions conducted bilingually in English and Spanish over the 7 days, and ample time to explore the Pueblo Mágico [Magic village] of Valle de Bravo located on Lake Avándaro where you can kayak, sail or water ski, hike in the forests, or visit the Monarch butterflies in the nearby Piedra Herrada Butterfly Sanctuary. This week in Mexico is an opportunity to pause, recalibrate, and replenish.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful and spacious home of Roberto and Lourdes Zesati, with a view of the lake and magnificent sunsets..

Housing and Food: Accommodations are ample and varied in the town ranging in price from $40/night to $70/night to $200+ and there are many restaurants and grocery stores. 

Transportation: Valle de Bravo is located about 87 miles southwest of Mexico City, about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive or bus ride. Zina Bus Company has buses that leave about once an hour from Terminal Poniente – Observatorio bus station in Mexico City.

About Valle de Bravo: Valle de Bravo is a picturesque “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Town) in the State of Mexico. Nestled in pine-covered mountains beside Lake Avándaro, it is renowned for its cobblestone streets, colonial-era architecture. The historic center features whitewashed buildings, red-tiled roofs, and narrow, flower-lined cobblestone lanes. There are art galleries and artisan markets. At Lake Avándaro, you can take boat tours, kayak, sail or water ski. For people who want to add some other adventures you can go paragliding or Hang Gliding. The Monarch Butterflies are migrating at this time of the year, and can be seen at the nearby Piedra Herrada Butterfly Sanctuary.
