DESCRIPTION:8-day in-person retreat in Barra de Navidad\, Mexico \nMarch 6 -13\, 2027  \nFee: $895\nEach day we seem to be faced with new challenges and growing uncertainty. As much as we try to create predictability every moment brings its own unique surprise\, its own offering and its own request of us.  The more we show up to meet the moment just as it is\, the more we can thrive in the midst of uncertainty. And the more we can bring the best of ourselves to respond to what is needed.  Our sensations are wonderful allies in this process.  As we rely on breathing and return to our senses\, we can find freedom in the midst of any experience.  Change is a constant in all of our lives. Sensory Awareness practice can help us meet change with curiosity and presence rather than with constriction or tightness. In this way we can live with openness\, connection and joy even in the midst of grief\, loss or sadness. This week in Mexico is an opportunity to pause\, recalibrate\, and replenish.  \nThere will be twelve 3.5-hour sessions conducted in English over the 8 days. \nHousing and Food: Accommodations are ample and varied in the town ranging in price from $30/night to $200/night and there are many outdoor restaurants and grocery stores.  \nTransportation: Manzanillo International Airport is a 20-minute taxi ride to Barra de Navidad\, Jalisco. \nAbout Barra de Navidad: This is where Lee took her first workshop in Sensory Awareness\, and she has been studying and teaching here since 1970. Barra de Navidad is a small\, friendly fishing village on the West Coast of Mexico in the State of Jalisco. We generally walk from place to place in the town\, from the beach to the lagoons filled with birds\, to the weekly artisan and crafts market.  \n*Scholarships available for all those actively engaged in responding to the Climate Crisis.\n* Veterans and Wildland Firefighters are welcome to participate on a sliding scale from $0 to anything you would like to offer.\n* Everyone is welcome no matter the capacity to pay.
